Peel High School Swimming Carnival
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Peel High School is holding its Twilight Swimming Carnival at South and West Tamworth War Memorial Pool (Scully) on the 15/02/2018 from 3:00pm to 7.30pm. The cost of $6.00 - $3.00 for entry into the pool and $3.00 for the bus, needs to be paid to their Year Advisors before the carnival.
We request that students bring the following:
- Sunscreen
- Towel
- Swimmers
- Drink bottle
- Hat
- Food and/or money to purchase food
We also request that students DO NOT BRING VALUABLES to the carnival, as the school will not be held liable for any loss.
All students will be transported to the carnival from Peel High School by bus at 2:30pm. No student will be given permission to leave the venue before 7.30pm unless collected by a parent/carer in person.
There will be a BBQ provided by Year 12 to raise money for Batyr, and the pool canteen will be open. The slide will also be open so be sure to bring extra money ($1.00).
Students who do not attend the carnival are expected to attend school on Friday 16th February, 2018.
Lessons have been organised for these students, yet minimal supervision will be available on the day. As there will only be a small number of students in attendance, the school canteen will not be open and students are expected to provide their own morning tea and lunch. Students will not be allowed to leave the school grounds to purchase food.
The permission note attached needs to be returned to school before Thursday 15th February, 2018. Failure to return the note will result in your child not being permitted to attend the Twilight Swimming Carnival. They will be required to go home as per normal at 2.45pm and are expected to attend school on Friday 16th February, 2018.
